OPSC (Odisha Public Service Commission) Service under Health and Family Welfare Department has announced the job vacancies of 192 Ayurvedic Medical Officer and other vacancies. Eligible and interested candidates can apply through Online on or before 25th January 2014. More information about OPSC recruitment is given below.

1. S.E.B.C: 16 Posts
2. Scheduled Caste: 56 Posts
3. Scheduled Tribe: 120 Posts
The Candidates age should be between 21 and 32 Years as on 01-01-2013.
Educational Qualification:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) or equivalent degree from a University or Institution recognized by the Central Council of Indian
Medicine and must have registered himself/ herself under the Odisha State Council of
Ayurvedic Medicines.
Application Fee:
A Candidate is required to pay a fee of Rs.300/- only. Candidates belonging to SC / ST are exempted from the Exam Fee. A person with Disability are exempted from payment of Fee.
Selection Process: The selection process is purely based on Merit Basis. The person who performs better in the Written Exam as well as in the Interview is selected.
Place of Examination: The Written Exam will be held at Cuttak.

03-02-2014: Lat Date for Receipt of Printout of Application Form.

How to Apply for the Exam:
Eligible and Interested Candidates can Apply Online from 25-12-2013 to 25-01-2014. Candidates are required to submit along with the printout / hard copy of online applications, true copies of the following certificate and documents duly attested by the candidate or a Gazetted Officer or Notary Public. The candidates are also required to mention in each document “submitted by me” and put their full signature on the same.Important Dates:
