Rebel Star Krishnam Raju rejoins BJP
Rebel Star Krishnam Raju, who is a well-known actor in the Tollywood circle has re-entered into Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Krishnam Raju who entered into Telugu Film Industry in 1966 has done over 180 movies and still busy with acting and producing. He has his own banner named "Gopi Krishna Movies'.
He is gonna turn to 74 this month. He entered BJP in the presence of M.Venkaiah Naidu.
In 2009, he joined Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam Party and contested from Rajamundry. In that election, he lost to a Congress Leader named Undavalli Arunkumar.
Before that, he was a State Minister for external affairs in BJP led by the National Democratic Alliance. He was inactive in politics after a humiliating defeat in the 2009 elections.
