Fastest ODI century in 36 balls

Well while everyone is busy with the Ashes test series and Jacque Kallis retirement from Test format, here comes great and strange news from the series between New Zealand and West Indies. Corey Anderson(NZL) a 23-year-old young cricketer has become a sensation now, this guy broke the world record of the fastest century in ODI's.


The record of the fastest ODI century stood for more than 17 years. We all know this record had been created by Pakistan all-rounder and power hitter Shahid Afridi. 17 years ago Shahid Afridi, when he was 16 years old, scored the fastest century in just 37 balls. This record stood more than 17 years unbroken until this guy Corey Anderson broke it today by scoring the fastest ODI century in just 36 balls. Overall this guy scored 131* runs in 47 balls which includes 6 fours and 14 sixes. This power pack performance of Anderson secured a big win for Kiwis over the windies.
