Salman Khan sister buys Dookudu remake rights

Arpita, Salman Khan’s sister Arpita reportedly purchased the Hindi remake rights of the Telugu hit film Dookudu starring Mahesh Babu for an undisclosed sum. The remake will also be directed by Sreenu Vytla.

Bollywood sources say that once Salman Khan completes Yash Raj Films Ek Tha Tiger, he will shoot for Kick remake and later Dookudu, by which time, the Hindi script version would be ready.

Salman Khan is fast becoming known as the remake hero particularly after the success of Wanted, Ready and Bodyguard.
